I was reading Digg this morning when I came across a post talking about the 8 best games for Linux. I was immediately attracted to a picture of the game World of Padman, which at first glance seemed to be a game for children, but don’t let it fool you. The first thing I did was watch this video. That is when I noticed that it looked a lot like a cartoon-ish version of Quake, but with funny characters.

First of all I want to thank every and each one of you who took the time to drop me a line about my recent citizenship. I was extremely pleased/amazed when I read the change log with the modifications, new features, and bugs fixed in the up and coming new version for Openbox! The list is too big to mention here, but take my word for it: it is amazing! You can already get packages for Ubuntu Feisty, Debian, Arch Linux, and Slackware. If you’re running Foresight Linux and want to try (unofficial for now) it, drop me a line.

I’m very proud to announce that today I have become a citizen of the United States! About 16 years ago my parents left or sold everything they owned and came to America with the intention of giving my sisters and I a better life. Their journey began like some many other immigrant’s in NYC. With only a few thousand dollars in their pockets and a very basic knowledge of English, my parents immediately embraced the American way of life.

É com muito orgulho que venho anunciar hoje que eu me tornei um cidadão dos Estados Unidos! Há 16 anos meus pais largaram ou venderam tudo que possuiam e vieram para a América, com o objetivo de providenciar uma vida melhor para minhas irmãs e eu. A jornada começou como a de muitos outros imigrantes em NYC. Com apenas o dinheiro que arrecadaram com a venda de seus bens e um conhecimento básico de inglês, meus pais imediatamente adotaram o estilo Americano de vida.
