Red Hat: Os Primeiros 3 Meses
Mar 08, 2012Este último dia 5 de fevereiro recebi a seguinte mensagem por e-mail:
Congratulations for reaching 90 days of service with Red Hat!
Red Hat: The First 3 Months
Mar 08, 2012This past Feb. 5th I was greeted early in the morning with the following email:
Congratulations for reaching 90 days of service with Red Hat!
It is hard for me to believe that it has been 3 months already since I started this new chapter in my career! My days have been filled with so many new things that it may explain why it literally feels like it was only yesterday that I left rPath to join the CloudForms QE Team here at Red Hat!
Starting a New Chapter: To Infinity, and Beyond!
Nov 20, 2011Last October I celebrated a couple of milestones in my life:
5 years living in North Carolina; 2 years since I bought my first house; 11 years married to my wife; 5 years working for rPath; Needless to say, each one of those milestones were very important to me as they mark important decision points in my life! Every single one of them changed my life for the better and I can’t help but feel blessed that I have so many things to look forward to at end of the year that remind me how lucky I have been!

Feel Good Friday
Mar 25, 2011This is more of a “feel good” post, mostly for me! Through my life I have come across a fork on the road many times, and for the last 4+ years I have always chosen the path to the right. Even when the left side sometimes looked a bit more “paved” and less difficult to walk through, I still chose the right path! The reasons are many, but I think I can distill them into one single sentence: I believe!
Foresight Linux 2.5.0 Release Candidate Galore!
Mar 09, 2011It is with great pleasure that I announce the release of Foresight 2.5.0 RC! This time, we have updated images for GNOME, Xfce and KDE! Things are shaping up quite nicely and thanks to all the feedback we’ve received from our users, we should be releasing our GA images pretty soon!
Well known for being a desktop operating system featuring an intuitive user interface and a showcase of the latest desktop software, this new release brings you the latest GNOME 2.
Life at rPath: 4+ Years And Counting
Mar 07, 2011It was around the end of 2006. Having spent most of my life living in the New Jersey - New York axis and close to my family, I bought a one-way ticket to RDU, packed my bag (yeah, one bag) and came down to North Carolina looking for a new job. Leaving my wife (who was expecting our second child) and young daughter while I went “job spelunking” wasn’t easy for me, but I was determined to quit the rat race once and for all!
Who said that lightening doesn’t strike twice on the same spot? I’m proud to announce the release of Foresight Linux 2.5.0 ALPHA 2 GNOME Edition!
Once again, this alpha release is from our QA branch, and is intended mostly to receive feedback on brand new installs from end-users, specially in relation to the overall behavior of X.org on first boot! Obviously, if you’re already running Foresight Linux 2.5.0 ALPHA1, simply update your system from the command line: *sudo conary updateall*
