Today I subscribed to ShowMeDo, a web site dedicated to providing tutorials in the format of screencasts. The tutorials cover many programming topics with Python being the one that got me to get a paid subscription. I managed to watch a few episodes during my lunch break… and was blown away at how easy it is to follow the sessions! Before anyone ask, I’m not getting paid for this plug… I know quite a few people who have shown interest in learning Python but didn’t know how to get started.

Yes, indeed!

Ontem eu enviei um e-mail para os membros do Conselho Ubuntu Brasil (grupo o qual tenho participado por um bom tempo) informando sobre a minha decisão de sair da equipe. Pelos últimos 6 meses tenho estado extremamente ocupado no trabalho, como também trabalhado nas traduções do GNOME, XFCE, Ubuntu e no meu projeto BillReminder. E como se isso não fosse suficiente, a Kate, minha filha mais nova já tem 14 meses de idade e está andando pelo apartamento todo… e a Yv já tem quase 7 anos!
